Our Busy and Brilliant System Administrator has fixed the problem. Meanwhile, how's the snow-clearance going in New Jersey?

Thank you for your patience, seriously.

We can blame Obama but he'll only say it's Bush's fault. Been there. Done that.

Something else occurred that perplexed me last night as I attempted to preview a new conversation I had placed in the text box. When I clicked on the "Preview" button an article by one Claire Berlinski appeared. And now Claire is off to Disneyland. Curiouser and curiouser.

Yes last night in my conversation with Pat Sajak about the snow Ricochet wouldn't take my edits, so my comments were filled with bad spelling and grammar (I always post then edit rather than edit then post.  Don't know why.  Some sort of mental block).

Sorry for the recent problem of comments disappearing on some threads, and possibly other issues.  While I was enjoying a long weekend, one of the servers ran out of disk space.  It's as simple as that.  Lack of disk space will cause unpredictable bugs in a server.

There is now a script in place to clear out unnecessary files every night.

Which problem?  I am finally staying "logged in on this computer," which is a real improvement!  Thank you BSA!

Please don't quash our conspiracy theories. We're just getting started. And do you really work for the NSA? FCC? FBI? CIA? DOJ? You're not fooling anyone you know with this "simple" explanation.

Clearing snow is a much easier job than IT support. No matter how big the snowfall, the solution is known. Fixing computer problems, on the other hand....

The "tell" that a manager has no idea how IT works is "Well, how long is it going to take to find the bug and fix it?"

What?  Modern, progressive, high-tech Ricochet servers don't have infinite-capacity RAID drives?

How disillusioning.

I don't know which problem you're referring to, but my experience is that this site is still (i.e. as I'm writing) very, very slow.
