Re: Primary Results Open Thread
My Dallas Family friends voted for Ted Cruz. They didn't know much about the two but perceived Cruz to be the more conservative and less moon batty of the two.

National Review should get credit for the cover bit they did on Cruz months ago.
And back when my husband wrote for NRO, he wrote a profile of Cruz. First national profile of the guy. 2009. · 4 minutes ago
I remember the excellent profile--National Review was all in on Cruz. In the past couple of weeks, they renewed their support. Cruz will be a dynamo. The Republicans have built one heckuva bench.
Democrats? I can't think of a single new, exciting Democrat. · 8 hours ago
That's partly a function of the Democrats losing for a few years. Elizabeth Warren is probably the biggest new star. If we can keep Brown safe we'll do enormous damage to resistance to Ryan.

Mike LaRoche: Also, it's a win for Sarah Palin, who endorsed and campaigned for Cruz.
I do believe that we listen to people we trust. Sarah Palin is in that mix of trustworthy people. She can be trusted to speak candidly and to act in that manner as well. The talk and the walk match.
To Texas: Congratulations on Cruz.
Fm Georgia: We defeated a boondoggle tax, scheduled to run for 10 years, for unnecessary infrastructure including additions to MARTA which is light rail. I believe that we were 63-percent against the new tax, and 37-percent for it with 99-percent of the vote counted.
