Yesterday, Ricochet members were bullish on Mitt Romney's presidential prospects. But today they're a little cranky about his use of Paul Ryan as a running mate. Click the image below to enhance:

I voted "no."
But I'm not sure how they could use Ryan's talents enough to satisfy Ricochet short of creating a few clones.
Ryan helps Romney most when he's on stage with him. They complement each other superbly.

Or maybe not. I didn't vote in this poll. It struck me as a good way to manufacture a phony wedge.
Though like R2D2, I have been wrong... from time to time.
Okay, okay, I'm often wrong.

Yes.
Yes.

"... adequately utilized Paul Ryan's talents." is too vague to be a poll question. The answers don't really mean anything.

I just realized I misread the question. I thought it was asking whether the Romney campaign is making adequate use of Paul Rahe's talents!
I voted no of course.
I think I would have voted yes if I'd read it correctly. In the early days of the pick I was afraid Ryan might outshine Romney, as Palin outshone McCain. But that hasn't happened at all, which I attribute to two things:
Ryan's modesty and Romney's genuine superiorities.
Ryan is more the gut-level conservative. He articulates certain things better. I'm looking forward to supporting him in 2020. But, as Ryan himself often says, Mitt's the man of for this moment.

Ryan is the best support for Romney as during his debate he kept putting forward Romney. He does not need to feed the ego.
I do look for Ryan's comments in the media. He also can get to grass roots campaigning while Romney is busy with his debate and making funny speeches.
He upsets the Left, with their reaction to the soup kitchen photo. They forget the Obamas doing the same.

Good thing Romney picked a real conservative instead of a guy that voted for the auto bailouts, TARP, the 2008 and 2009 stimulus bills, No Child Left Behind, and the Bush medicare expansion...Oh wait...
Look, I get that Obama/Biden have to go and Romney/Ryan is what we've got, but Ryan's voting record is problematic and he got called on it during the veep debate and didn't have an answer. I'll not voice any enthusiasm for them until 2016--if they prove to be the conservatives they claim to be.
Honestly, our ticket doesn't give me a fever, it gives me the chills.
