Here are some interesting developments, one weighing against release of bin Laden's death photo, and one for it.

Senators Scott Brown, Kelly Ayote and Saxby Chambliss all claimed to have seen the bin Laden death photo.

Well, that's news to the White House, who are surprised the Senators are saying so since the Administration has not released the photo.

It turns out there's a fake photo making the rounds of capitol hill.

Scott Brown later issued a statement admitting he saw a fake.   Senator Ayote issued a statement saying now she isn't sure if the one she saw was real, and Senator Chambliss hasn't said anything new.

This may bolster the Administration's assertion that conspiracy theorists will just say the photo is a fake anyway.  If 3 Senators can be so easily swayed to think a fake photo is real, then perhaps the President has a point:  Photos are rather useless these days, considering the ease of manipulation.

On the other side, Reuters has released photos of 3 dead men killed in the bin Laden raid.  WARNING: THESE PHOTOS ARE GRAPHIC AND NOT FOR WEAK STOMACHS!

Reuters has run right over the arguments that America won't show gore, won't show victory photos and are worried about inflaming the bad guys.

I still maintain arguments for or against release of the bin Laden death photo is a jump ball.
