I often talk up Romney/Palin because it would be an amazing synergy that would draw more voters than it would alienate. On the other hand, you've picked possibly the most alienating ticket "EVAR."; at some point, a graph of demand for such a ticket on the political spectrum/axis would be a straight down; a cliff...

I'd vote for them over Obama, but still...

I love it simply because it would make all the right people in the Media machine go into fits of foaming at the mouth twitching hysteric rage.

I for one want to know about that painting in the background. That's a very un-Bush-like piece of art, isn't it? Who painted it? Who put it there? Laura Bush? No librarian I have ever heard of would hang even a Monet in front of books. As for W himself, he looks incredibly relieved.

Looks like a last-minute substitute by the director for something else unseemly... I think that big rectangular space in the bookcase behind the painting likely contains a TV set... undoubtedly tuned to the World Cup...
