Osama bin Laden Dead; Khalid Sheik Mohammed Awaiting Civilian Trial

CBS News and the NYTimes are reporting that President Obama is about to speak to the country, giving an "update" on the hunt for Osama bin Laden. And aide for the House Intelligence Committee confirms that bin Laden is dead.
Which is good news for the country, and for justice.
Now if only the Obama administration could stop botching the trial of Khalid Sheik Mohammed.

Fantastic news - so very glad it was our guys that did it. I thought that SOB was going to die of old age. I'm hoping that our guys will be able to 'run the table' with the intelligence that led to this strike. I wonder what happened in Pakistan to make this happen.

I know I shouldn't celebrate someone's death but justice has been served for a lot of murder victims. God Bless America and peace for all of the 9/11 victims, families, and friends.

One small point for which I am glad is that this happened prior to the 10 year anniversary. To have to endure this coming 9/11 with this as an open item would have been extremely difficult to bear.

bin Laden's death is not going to bring down the price of gas or find someone a job. This is not a political moment and I hope Obama doesn't try to turn it into one.

Reports are that Bin Laden was killed in Pakistan. He was allegedly living in a mansion outside Islamabad.
