On The President's Lack Of Decorum
As soon as the Obamatax ruling came out yesterday, Patrick Gaspard, the executive director of the Democratic National Committee tweeted:
@patrickgaspard it's constitutional. [expletive].
Yes, that's right. His tweet -- which references female dogs -- doesn't meet our Code of Conduct.
The DNC's new media director Greg Greene tweeted:
@ggreeneva Overheard in the office: "TAKE THAT MOTHER[EXPLETIVE]S!!
He later tweeted he was going to "hug the [expletive] out of some broccoli." Ha ha ha!
Now, one of my worst vices is that I cuss like a sailor. Or used to. It's amazing how becoming a mother can cure you of this problem. But I'm not pretending I'm immune from this condition. However, one has to know the time and place.
But guess who else doesn't know the time or place. (And no, I'm not talking about the Obama campaign email this morning that told people to "win the [expletive] election.") Check out this tweet from Barack Obama's official campaign:

Really? Really? Really? When your public statements wouldn't even be uttered by Lyndon Baines Johnson, that may be an indicator you should grow up.

KC Mulville: Send all tweets, blogs, and correspondence to John Roberts, Chief Justice of the United States.
His opinion argued that the Court is obligated to do whatever it can to salvage a law, even to the point of skipping past the arguments made, and adopting interpretations not made, to make sure that the law stands.
(So much for the neutral umpire merely calling balls and strikes.)

Can't tell you how pleased I am to see Yes, Minister referenced here. I always feel like a prophet in the wilderness when I try to convince people they should give it a watch. Just renewed my subscription and am rarely induced to go through the process of logging in to post a comment, but that, EJ, was enough.
