Political observations from the Caribbean: none.
Social observations from the Caribbean: when a brief shower passes through, those little umbrellas in the drinks don't provide much protection.

Listen people, those umbrellas have nothing to do with weather!
They are a sobriety test. Twirl them between thumb and forefinger. If they get airborne, you're good to go. If they fall flat, it's time to stop.

Thanks for your work with the less-than-fortunate in the islands .A sacrifice like yours provides the inspiration for all us during this Christmas season. Tipping is alot like those kettles. Please order another round and tip heavily.

The umbrellas are to keep your drink from being diluted. They thereby prevent you from being guilty of alcohol abuse.
