The New York Times has a story about President Obama's visit to Indonesia, the country where he spent part of his boyhood. The graph that caught my eye:

His nanny was an openly gay man who, in keeping with Indonesia’s relaxed attitudes toward homosexuality, carried on an affair with a local butcher, longtime residents said. The nanny later joined a group of transvestites called Fantastic Dolls, who, like the many transvestites who remain fixtures of Jakarta’s streetscape, entertained people by dancing and playing volleyball.

This is the newspaper that couldn't be bothered to find anything out about Obama during his college years. Am I alone in thinking that if, oh, I don't know, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had a similar background, The Times might have found that newsworthy years ago?

Indonesian transvestites play lots of V-ball? That definitely wouldn't have been my first guess.

Q: Exactly how far after a midterm election does the Friday news dump take place?
A: Eight days.

"Sweetheart, tell me about this new boy..."

"Oh, he's really nice, mom. He went to Colombia. And Harvard. He's a lawyer."

"My, that sounds promising. What about his family background?"

"Well, um, his baby daddy was an alcoholic Marxist from Kenya, who abandoned him and his mom shortly after he was born. His mom was a radical sort of failed intellectual who married an Indonesian guy. But she wasn't in the picture that much, so he was really raised by a transvestite Muslim volleyball player and then after his mom died he lived with his grandparents. They didn't quite know how to handle an adolescent black grandson in Hawaii, so they found a nice Marxist child molester to take Barry under his wing..."

Will he run for office? Senate? That might get you a sinecure gig as a racial hall monitor at a major hospital Shelly, but this guy needs to be in charge. How about President?

Whether you call it MSM or lame-stream, the opposition press is the opposition press. It's a big, fat, odious hot bed of yellow journalism built up through decades of relentless and ruthless brow beating and hypocrisy. I think the absence of a loyal press is more the concern.

Excepting Mr. Breitbart of course.  God bless you, Andrew!  And Brit Hume and John Stossel and dozens more whose names don't come to mind or I just haven't run across.

But that army of journalists with values common to the other 80% of Americans spread across a thriving news market dredging up the hard stories rather than repackaging MSM with commentary?

There is much in Mr. Obama's background stretching back to childhood that is a bit unsavory. It wouldn't surprise me to find out our president is sexually ambivalent.

Typical Regime Media news day in America: The "Tranny-Nanny" story gets no play at all, but George W. gets mocked and satirized on Morning Joe and the cable comedy-news shows.

Someday this dark age we're living in will be seen and understood in all its Satanic splendor.

At least Glenn Beck is doing great work. Is anyone watching his expose' on George Soros? It's chilling and disturbing to say the least. Here he is in his own words:

Ms. Hemingway;

As a local representative, independently subcontracted by myself, for GLADD,

I am formally lodging a protest and a request that RIcochet cease and desist using the word "tranny". It is a hurtful word. Imagine getting your thingie chopped off so you can date a butcher ? Maybe it was pre-emptive.

Be send GLADD ten million dollars ( unmarked threes) and we will cancel our protest march and weinie roast in your front yard.

Plus I think I get 20% fee for my voluntary contingency.

Yours in Elton,

Vince Vaughan
