Now We Know Why Berlusconi Resigned
He loves women, and he loves love songs. Managing a country? Not so much.
The billionaire businessman, who as a student crooned on cruise ships in the Mediterranean, spent two years writing the lyrics for the album, called 'True Love'.
The 11 songs he penned are sung by Mariano Apicella, a Neapolitan ballad singer who has collaborated with the former prime minister on similar albums in the past.
"The album will be in the shops on Tuesday," Mr Apicella told The Daily Telegraph yesterday. "Berlusconi wrote all the words and I put them to music." The songs, inspired by traditional Neapolitan music as well as samba, tell of unrequited love and the longing for a lover.

If there isn't a track entitled "Bunga Bunga," then it's no sale.

He's never heard the sage advice every aspiring show biz person should have taped to his mirror: "Don't quit your day job"?
Afterthought: Well, after listening to 28 seconds of the clip, I have admit it's less sick-mking than "Nel Blu di Pinto di Blu" (aka "Volare"), which poisoned the airwaves of my youth.

Hey, I like that song... I drove a Volare for a little while... it was such a solid car, but one of the headlights used to go out on me frequently so that I had to come to the front and kick the side of the headlight with my steel-toed shoes (I worked in a factory) until it would come on. I never dented the vehicle. Good times...
