No ObamaCare Ruling Today, Maybe Next Week

In case you were wondering, the Supreme Court issued its decisions for today, and ObamaCare was not one of them. It's possible that the Court will issue its decision on the Affordable Care Act later this week, but Court-watchers are predicting that the ruling will come Wednesday or Thursday of next week (see here and here).
While we're waiting, Heritage has a post about the "devastating" effects of ObamaCare on young adults, namely:
- Premium increases
- Loss of coverage
- Government takeover of student loans
- Less money for education
- Crushing fiscal burden
If the student loan thing seems strange, it actually is part of the ObamaCare legislation, not that anybody pretends it has anything to do with healthcare.

Great. If the Court doesn't issue a ruling this week, I'll have to reply on an SJ motion in our own Obamacare case, probably just in time for SCOTUS to make it all moot.
That being said, I'm predicting that the entire PPACA statute will be stricken, not just the individual mandate. The govt did a good job of explaining the cost spiral that would ensue if just the mandate were stricken, plus there is no savings clause. Unless the Roberts court uncharacteristically decides to act as a super-legislature and pick this, that and the other to strike/save, the entire turkey is dead and cooked. IMHO.
That's my prediction, for what it's worth. Time for me to move on to other things. Hey, anyone here know if there is any basis for a citizen suit asking for an injunction against EO's that order immigration officials to not enforce the law as written, and which the President admits are an administrative measure to enforce an act that failed to secure passage in Congress?

Hmm. Can you find somebody who gets rejected from a job application or graduate program in favor of somebody who should have been deported but for Obama's order?
Or maybe a person who is a victim of a crime or tort committed by a person who should have been deported?

Futures trading on the question of the SCOTUS ruling the individual mandate to be unconstitutional is running at 74% YES. Given that, part of the rally of the last two weeks is already built on that likely prospect. In fact, if this rally gets too far along before the court actually rules against Obamacare you could see some selling initially on the announcement. (If they uphold Obamacare the correction will resume.)
The 4 main political issues traders are watching are: 1) Walker recall fails 2) Obamacare found unconstitutional 3) November elections 4)Lame duck session addresses the huge tax increases coming January 1st. One down, three to go.
