We have a new poll up on the Member Feed.  Two new questions pertain (1) to your alignment with the candidates on Economics, Social Issues, and Foreign Policy, and (2) to the candidates' personal appeal (or lack thereof).

Your first question begins "Of the six candidates listed, which one would you choose to run against Obama?" then lists only four.

Maybe...it's the knowing anticipation that two of the phantom "true conservatives" that some believe will jump into the race at the last minute, and immediately take the lead, to, "save us from further RINO victories" are on their way...OH JOY!!! Or, it's a typo. Probably a typo.

"3. Imagine that you're in a small car with each candidate, and the car gets stuck in a snowdrift for a full 24 hours. Food, water, and air are plentiful. Which candidates would you prefer for this scenario?"

Those candidates that frequently bathe, immediately came to mind ...

Voters in the early primary states have more courage than I do, because I tried to do this poll and couldn't do it. I want to believe that as flawed as these guys are at least one or two of them could beat the incumbent and be a reasonably good president  but I can't believe it yet.  Still, I am not willing to say that none of them is up to the job.  Maybe the primary process will produce the improvements in the candidates that we need, I tell myself, and I do think that there have been improvements, but each day still looks like Groundhog Day.

I discovered that the candidate I want is Nick Romtorich.
