Re: Mr. Hemingway Sums Up The Night
I love that!
The guy on 760KFMB just remarked that if this had been a prize fight they would have called it after a few minutes to make sure both challengers actually walked away :p

Re: Mr. Hemingway Sums Up The Night
A hilarious analogy. I bet Obama is fit for stewing right now. Likely a sleeping pill is needed.
Re: Mr. Hemingway Sums Up The Night
It seemed a particular cruelty that Ann and Mitt are likely having a far nicer night post-debate than the Obamas are on their 20th anniversary.

Matt Welch made the exact same comment.

No, he retweeted Mr. Hemingway. I've emailed Instapundit to let him know that he credited the wrong guy.
Re: Mr. Hemingway Sums Up The Night
No -- Matt "retweeted" it. See here -- he was the first of many to do so.

Ah, thanks. Although this reminds me that sometimes I'll tell my husband that I "said something funny on Twitter" and he just looks at me like it's the saddest thing I've ever said. He'll tease me later on and say "So what you're saying is that you're funny on Twitter." #FightOfTheWeek?

Re: Mr. Hemingway Sums Up The Night
Wasn't then State Senator Obama having a psychological breakdown when he lost his congressional bid?
This might hasten a public breakdown.

Re: Mr. Hemingway Sums Up The Night
That image of Obama on the roof with a smiling Mitt at the wheel needs to be in a political cartoon.
That, and the image of Romney debating an empty chair.
Anybody else having trouble going to sleep? (but, you know, it's a good kind of insomnia)

Re: Mr. Hemingway Sums Up The Night
Wow. I thought my "trickle down" comment was priceless, but Mark's comment made me laugh out loud. And I'm usually flat as a pancake.

Your Hubby's tweet gave me a hardy laugh; I also like Dana Perino's tweet about the Little League mercy rule. Yuk-yuk-yuk

Re: Mr. Hemingway Sums Up The Night
If I had twitter it would have said "I heard that Obama has taken to writing 'uncle' on a piece of paper at each debate". There is a joke there somewhere. Definitely a cartoon.

That's what I get for reading Instapundit before Ricochet. :)

I reTweeted it too. Man, Mark is a funny man. My guess is the Hemingway household is nonstop hilarity. Right, Mollie?

The Heminator!
So what will Mitt strap him to the top of for a tour around the <world> in the foreign policy debate?

I can picture it now - Obama and Seamus on Romney's car roof, fighting over the kibbles 'n bits
