Not only is 82% of the public against the individual mandate (as I pointed out below), yet another federal judge has ruled that the mandate is unconstitutional.

"The nation undoubtably faces a health-care crisis," said federal district Judge Christopher C. Connor in today's decision.  “The federal government, however, is one of limited enumerated powers, and Congress' efforts to remedy the ailing health care and health insurance markets must fit squarely within the boundaries of those powers."

"Limited enumerated powers?"  No doubt Judge Conner will be blasted for being "outside the mainstream" for uttering such crazy talk. Let us hope that a sufficient number of lower court opinions, plus the rising tide of public opinion will give the Supreme Court the courage to do the right thing.

I'm still amazed that this bill passed even the way it did with all the bribery and questionable legislative moves.

The names of the "yes" votes on Obamacare should somehow be front and center at all times in American politics even after it is repealed.  A scarlet letter is suitable for those America destroyers.

This latest news striking down the mandate is great news.
