A PBC

First Mollie with the licorice.  Then Tommy with the Peanut Butter Cups...

You're killing me!  I've got a dentist appointment tomorrow!

Still though.... I can't stop thinking of candy.  What's your favorite Halloween candy?  What's the worst?

A Circus Peanut

In the latter category, put me down for circus peanuts. *gag*

Candy corn is the worst, bar none. QED.  The circus peanuts run a close second.

On the other hand, there are few things more sublime than a frozen Snickers.

When my kids were young, I always made them give me three Snickers from each bag. Yes, I was coercive.  No, I don't care that it may have harmed their self-esteem.

I'm a big fan of Circus Peanuts. My grandpa used to give them to me, so that probably explains some of my positive feeling.

I've already shared my love for licorice. Worst candy? Never liked those "bit o' honeys" or understood why they were called that.

Sidehill:  I don't know how you beat me to it.  Question:  Is there anyone anywhere in the world that can stand candy corn?

Worst candy ever is anything with coconut in it. Best is a tie between snickers and twix.

Candy corn is AWESOME.  You can shove the blunt ends onto your teeth and become a Candy Corn Vampire!

My favorite Halloween candy has to be the Pixy Stick, which I think is the crack of the candy world.

My least favorite has been "Smartees" which are small, round chalky disks with only slight variances in flavor.

I'm with you on bit-o-honey, but my wife loves them.  As far as I can tell, it's her only character flaw.

I'm still chewing a bit-o-honey from last Halloween.

How about those foam flying saucer disks with the little pellets inside?  What were those things?  Was I supposed to eat the foam?

No!  Call poison control immediately (they're dilithium crystals).

This thread has brought back several bad memories.  Anyone remember those straw-like candies filled with punch powder?  Ugh!

Those are pixy sticks and they rock.  Though we may have similar political views, it seems we may come to blows on Confectionary Issues.

Jelly beans, Yes !  They also pulled double duty as slingshot ammo in a pinch.

Good jelly beans, yes. Bad jelly beans, not so much.

I may question your sanity on sugar issues, but we both know we'll never have another happy Halloween until Obama is a private citizen.

Another candy I had trouble understanding - Wax Bottles.  Again, was I supposed to eat the wax?  Drink the juice?

Carve a likeness of Obama for a Halloween pumpkin ? Disturbing that.

Well, excuuuuuse me! I love bit-o-honey. I like me some candy corn too. I also really enjoy abba-zabas.

Smarties are the worst. Most disappointing candy ever.
