A couple of weeks ago I approached Rob with the idea that we should add an extra dimension to the site by interviewing some of the membership and finding out what makes them tick. Diane approached a handful of our regular folks and they were very gracious in submitting to my grilling (read: friendly softballs all hit out of the park).

And now the pilot episode of "Ricochet Quick Shots." And if you like it let us know. It will definitely help determine if we try something like this in the near future.

Thanks Katie, Matt and Duane. And Andrea, who I lost to a technical glitch, you may get your own show!

Very well done, though a few more felines would be nice.

Pseudodionysius, are you applying for a CATSing Call... I mean casting call?

We should really use these as a jumping off place - What was your journey to conservatism and who is your early money on for 2012?

Well, EJ I'm a little too bashful to volunteer for kitten pictures, but you did remind me that I should do a member post on my path to conservatism when I was a youngin'

Diane Ellis, Ed.

I really, really love this.  And for what my two cents is worth, I'd be thrilled to see more! :-D

I'd like a cats and dogs episode with Kenneth and the Thom cat. What do you say pseudokitty?

It turned out really well, EJ.  Great job!!  Too bad all my brilliant comments are lost to the random pitfalls of technology.  But, my own show.  Wow.  Just give me a minute to find a talent agent.  Kennedy?  I'll give you 10%.

Kidding aside, I really enjoyed talking to you EJ and learning about your wonderful family and profession.

Great idea and execution of same. How does one suggest a member for a future episode? I have a friend [Ricochet member] who would be a great guest.

As you know, Good Berean, major film studios have onerous contract clauses that preclude my involvement in outside activities without their prior consent. I will have to contact my agent and see if Pixar will allow me to do it. The last time I asked, they scotched my upcoming UFC match with Vitor Belfort. I mean, hello, I have needs too.

EJ, I'm sure that was a lot of work for you...and took you away from your real day job.  But, I agree with Jim Chase that it really enriches our sense of community here.  Maybe sometime down the road you could create a video of some subscribers talking about what Ricochet does for them...the value it adds to their daily life.  And, maybe their addiction to it (cough, cough).

Great job EJ! Duane's account of Pawlenty has piqued my interest in him. Boo to the picture of John Thune coinciding w/ commentary about people seeking the spotlight though. Thats totally not his style. But I'm a wee bit biased :)
