I admit that I haven't listened to the podcast, but I work in Entertainment and I have an assistant and it is the greatest thing.Give up control of your calendar. Your assistant schedules everything. Don't answer the phone. That's the assistant's job. You can screen everything and never need to talk to the vendors / whomever who are trolling. Expense reports, meeting set up. If you're at a studio, you need someone to navigate the beauracracy and get things done. Don't resist. Revel in it and use it!
