Great work! I get so aggravated when people think conservatives (even RINO squish conservatives) have no heart and hate the poor. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

I had previously donated to this organization, Rob, based on your recommendation and probably will again. Don't know the politics of the place and don't care - relieving suffering in non-partisan.

Well Rob, that moved me.
I was having a crappy day, one of these stress filled busy days, dealing with people who seem to change their minds about work related things so quickly you get whiplash. I was down in the basement of our liquor shop here in Tokyo, I was getting stock to go on a delivery to a customer, and I was grumpy, in a poor state of mind. I don't like that, so I grabbed my iPhone and checked to see what podcasts I had not listened too, hoping to find something to cheer me up, NPR's Car Talk was there, but that is too long, only had a few minutes, oh, Martini Shot, perfect!
When I was done, I just shook my head, how self absorbed I was, I have a lovely family, and a good life, I work hard for it, but I never had any of the problems you talk about some of these young people have. I got on the web, and found the site and sent some money, not much, I wish it was more, all while standing in the basement in Tokyo.

Thank you for sharing this Rob. I have been working with the mentally ill for 19 years, and this is all very true. Every day, when I get home, I am thankful for what I have.
