Rob has the perfect voice for public radio. He needs to be the one who breathes: "This program was brought to you by a major grant from..........the John D............and Catherine T..............McMuffin............Foundation, for excellence in..........reporting about......Women.........Minorities.........and the enviroment."
Blue Yeti, you scared the crap out of me with this one.
You see, I love Martini Shot, and I try to listen as often as I can. A few weeks ago, Rob mentioned something about bone marrow, and a biopsy... and we haven't heard anything since. We've been in suspense.
Ricochet hasn't featured Martini Shot before. So when this episode showed up I first thought, "Oh good," and then a second later, "Uh oh: why now? Is this some kind of special, bad, very bad announcement?" And then the fear kicked in.
So I was quite relieved to hear nothing about... you know. I'm still in suspense, but that's his business, not mine.

Why three things? Because someone will interrupt to tell you their theory after the first thing, thus getting you off the hook. Then you could always pretend that you had a killer #3, but they ruined it.
God forbid, however, if they let you continue without interruption.
When I don't know something, I'm in the habit of saying "I don't know; I have to think about it." I learned this in the classroom. The best way for a teacher to establish credibility with his students is not to b.s. them.

Three things:

I'm sure my "tells" are comically obvious.
