For those of you who haven't had your fill, here I am again in Fox makeup talking about Meryl Streep's makeup and the Margaret Thatcher movie preview. (I managed to slip in a few words about the importance of privatizing major industries and public utilities while I was at it.)
Scene from the Green Room:
Makeup artist: So, do you have any special makeup preferences?"
Me: Well, I usually don't wear any at all, so I guess ... you're the expert ...
Makeup artist: This is Fox News. We like hot.
Me: Can I quote you on that?
Makeup artist: Oh yeah.

Very well done. You got your points out quickly and kept control of the interview. You should do more TV. Or interview people for Ricochet over the Skype. Or maybe you need your own podcast. And you were hot. You should replace your Ricochet Picture with one from your Fox appearance.

You did an outstanding job, Claire. What struck me initially was how your body posture just exuded a natural confidence. You also did a fine job responding to the questions with pith and clarity. Bang on. As for the bangles, well, I suppose it's best not to rattle around the studio like the ghost of Jacob Marley. Lesson learned. FOX should know better anyway.

I have been in make-up at Fox many times and not once has the make-up lady said anything like this to me. I can't understand it.
