March 31st Member Meetup in East Texas

This Saturday, March 31st, a group of Members will be congregating at Stanley's for some award-winning BBQ in Tyler, Texas. If you're a Member in the vicinity, I encourage you to make it out. I've now been to three Member meetups and can attest to what a good time they are.

I'd love to attend the Texas meetup, but I'll be at a funeral. However, in honor of Ricochet, I will mention Obamacare to see if my in-law rises from the grave to spit.

Chicago has two, we'll have one on Friday April 6th, as a test run for a Friday May 11th Wing Ding

I would also like to encourage those that can't travel to the cities listed above or on those dates, to try an Audio Meetup. We've had one so far and it was a gas. So we're trying it again to see if it has any legs.

Aw, man. I'd love to make the trip over from the Hill Country, but I'm already committed to door-to-door campaigning for a friend on the 31st.
Thank you, meddling judges, for pushing back our elections by three months. Nothing prevents disenfranchisement like moving an election 27 times. Well done.
If there's ever a meetup in San Antonio or Houston, I'll be there with bells on.

Unfortunately, I'll miss the Tyler meetup. It would have been my first visit. But I second a meet-up in San Antonio or Houston--perhaps during the summer?

Easy Matthew .... they think ribs means beef ribs.

The crown jewel of Texas BBQ is brisket, but they will do ribs too.

We're looking forward to this. I'll be working, but should be able to get away for lunch. I definitely recommend the Brother-In-Law (hot link and chopped brisket sandwich)... Mmmmmm...

You should plan one in Madison for the day after the Walker Recall effort, it could be quite a sacred -or, ahem, profane- event. With a bit of luck, both.

Yes!! Ricochet in Tyler!! Oh how I'd love to be home to join in. Stanley's is incredible - they catered my wedding. Their brisket is unreal, but my other favorite is the Big Swimmer: pan-fried tilapia on jalapeno sourdough bun with melted cheddar cheese, guacamole, and lettuce/tomato. Get your order in quick - they sell out of brisket by about 1 p.m. Don't forget the peach cobbler!
