This week, Sun columnist Toby Young joins James Delingpole (broadcasting from his summer chateau in Wales). They discuss U.S. gun laws versus British ones, the coming Olympic-opolypse, why James should be a lord, and their obsession with Breaking Bad.

Thanks James, in advance. I've got something interesting to listen to while performing a tedious, mindless task I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. I hope you made it 2 hours long.

Wonderful.  The comments on men remind me of the U.K. version of "Life on Mars."  Sit in a committee meeting or play slappy-face with the local criminal element?

Too, too exciting - Having Nigel Farage on your podcast will be such a treat.  Thank you!

It was over too soon! I enjoyed every minute, though. I was surprised and encouraged to hear that Harvard students were happy to hear of Locke's defense--pardon, defence--of gun rights meshing with the Second Amendment. Maybe happy is too strong. Interested? Well, that's something, isn't it?

Sorry to hear that we will never have a Lord Delingpole on Ricochet. That was going on my tombstone: "Commented regularly on Lord Delingpole's podcast."

James, I know you're a bit pessimistic about the future, but hold out hope that you'll be the hero of the Thermidorian Reaction. You may be Lord Delingpole yet.

James, think like an American.  Change your name legally to Lord James Delingpole.  Titles are so much more meaningful when not handed down.

I was astonished and appalled when, in the course of researching a project on petroleum measurement today, I stumbled across http://og.decc.gov.uk the website of the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change.

What I can't understand is you send your kids to public schools which have been taken over by religious fanatics and yet you don't home school your kids or send them to a private school that does not teach your kids a religion you are hostile to?

You allow you kids to be indoctrinated in a religion you are so opposed to you have written whole books against. Sorry but what kind of parent are you in allowing your children to be brainwashed in a totalitarian and Marxist (but I repeat myself)  religion which you see as dangerous to Western and British society.

What are you waiting for, one of the new Free schools that does not teach Global Warming/Facist Envormonetlism?

Toby raised a questions of why God doesn't keep preforming  miracles to prove his existence.
That is a fundamental misunderstanding of the purpose of miracles.
Remember, God parted the Red Sea and that was not enough to keep the Israelites from following God 100% of the time.

I finally joined Ricochet to get access to this podcast. No regrets but REM as intro music? You need to appeal to us Anglophiles across the pond. How about a good rendering of God Save The Queen or a piece by Elgar. Please for the next podcast comment on the Opening Ceremonies. Caused quite a storm here in the former colonies among us Anglophiles.  Cheers.
