Tomorrow (Thursday, November 29), I'll be participating in a conference on constitutional law with our own Richard Epstein, as well as Nicholas Rosenkranz of Georgetown and Michael Greve of AEI. The topic is "Constitutional Law After ObamaCare."  The fun starts at 6:30 pm Eastern, and you can listen to it live at this link.

The moderator is Jim Copland from the Manhattan Institute, which is hosting the event.  I hope you can listen in.

Adam -- Is the conference strictly virtual? Or is there a live studio audience somewhere?

Rob Long

Adam, please say hi to Nick Rosenkranz for me.  He was a student of mine, in my senior English class, the year I taught at my old school.

He was a smart kid, but I think he still owes me a paper on The Brothers Karamazov.

Was he pals with Duncan Sheik?

Well this should be a short event.  How long can it take to say that the US Constitution is an old piece of paper kept in the National Archives that is pretty much ignored by all?  That it’s only use is when liberals want to beat those that revere it over the head.

The live event is at the Century Club in NY.  I should have mentioned - anyone in NYC who wants to attend should call the Manhattan Institute at 646-839-3372

I had no idea.  I like Nick, he's going to be a guest on a forthcoming Naked Constitution podcast on federalism.

Is there going to be a recording released afterwards?

Adam was persuasive, lucid and affable. Professor Epstein was brilliant and exhausting. There were snacks and free drinks. The event was terrific though of course the Constitution is in shreds and we are all doomed. Three cheers for the Manhattan Institute!
