Left Coast/Right Coast #5: Too Much Feck

In their first post summer production, The Daily Caller's Mickey Kaus and The Washington Post's Jennifer Rubin recap the Obama's jobs speech, debate Rick vs. Mitt, and attempt to explain how the Democrats could well lose the unfortunately monikered Weiner seat. As always, it's entertaining, engaging, and fat-free. Listen in here:

Let me guess: they both hate Romney? Ok, I'll listen... ;-)

Jen's "Obama wins" scenario leaves out lots of little things like the release of Sirhan Sirhan from prison.

Jennifer Rubin
Thank you for confirming the statistics on the economic environment of the Washington DC area with real-life illustrations. The court and the courtiers are living very well, indeed.
Let me know when you come around to the obvious conclusion, still not enunciated by any of the GOP Presidential candidates (although faintly suggested by Governor Perry), but circulating under the surface in the psyche of the American Right:
"The Recession will end in the USA on the day it begins in the Beltway."

I enjoy these podcasts every bit as much as the regular Ricochet podcasts, but I do have a complaint. Jennifer, as a fan of your work I really enjoy hearing your opinion, but you've got to let Mickey speak a bit more. No, a lot more. If we put a stopwatch on each of you, I think the ratio could easily be 3:1, Jennifer:Mickey. I don't care if you expanded the time to 2 hours, but I'd like to hear Mickey give a fuller response to each question. It must be that East Coast energy rolling over Left Coast cool, but how about a little compensation.
Otherwise, very good stuff.
