After an extended hiatus, we're happy to welcome bloggers extraordinaire The Daily Caller's Mickey Kaus and The Washington Post's Jennifer Rubin back to the podcast fold. From their

JenniferRubin

perches high above the fray (OK, they work from their homes) they see all and say everything. This week, they comment on bad debt, worse hair, better polls, painful headaches, and the great hope from Texas.

Good news! To celebrate Kaus and Rubin's return, this episode is free for everyone. Listen in here:

Nice. And the truest words were spoken by Jennifer - all the debt ceiling action is so illusory that trying to comment on the latest 'developments' is doomed to failure. As we saw with the main podcast and The Young Ones^W Guns, which seemed terribly dated and irrelevant the moment they were posted.

Two things--conservatives are not automatically "crazy people," Mr. Kaus.  And people from Iowa know what a metaphor is, Ms. Rubin.
