Carnegie Deli

America's most beloved legal podcast returns for a deli sandwiched-sized episode. This week, John and Richard (with Maître d' Troy Senik) open with the tale of their recent lunch at New York's legendary Carnegie Deli. Then, the professors nosh over a Supreme Court session preview, kibitz about DOMA, judicial activism, whether or not the government can legally order the assassination of a U.S. citizen, plotz over the Americans With Disabilities Act, and wind up with a not-to be-missed debate on term limits for judges and justices. Should there be? Oy vey, let the profs know what you think in the comments.

It's "kibitz" not kibbutz.  Kibbutz, the name of the collective villages set up by the socialist Jews.  A few are left in Israel but most Jews got tired of all that closeness.

I knew that, but auto correct clearly doesn't know Yiddish and I didn't catch it. Thanks for the correction.

Either that or our good friend has a big head. It goes with the Epstein and Yoo bobbleheads from around episode 2.

I do seem to have a bit of a Lisa Kudrow thing going on here. It looks like I should be foraging on the high leaves at a Zambian game preserve.

And, EJ, my forebears would prefer that you kindly refer to the condition by its correct title: "Fat Irish Head".

I'm going to have to stop employing the multi-talented Mr. Hill if the illustrations continue to get more comments than the actual content does.

Don't worry, Yeti- we'll get to substantive commentary after we have the chance to actually listen.  But we (this is the royal collective "we") schedule Law Talk for when there is an opportunity to pay close attention and savor it.
