Lautenberg: Tea Partiers Don't Deserve Rights

During a pro-Planned Parenthood rally in New Jersey this week, Democratic Senator Frank Lautenberg reportedly blasted Republicans and conservatives who are against funding the pro-abortion group.
The Tea Party Republicans in Washington claim they’re concerned about the budget balance, but it’s a disguise! It’s not true! It’s a lie! That’s not what they want. They want — they want other people not to be able to have their own opinions. They don’t deserve the freedoms that are in the Constitution! But we’ll give them to them anyway.

Um, Frank. Please READ the document you reference. I think it says in there somewhere that we are endowed by our CREATOR with certain rights. It's not about "deserving." We are born with them.

As Deuteronomy 30:19 says, "This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live."
Americans are choosing the path of nihilism. River... you have allowed Abe to sum it up, and I think God Himself also does it rather well.

Didn't he retire once? What is it about octogenarian politicians who think God created them, and only them, to preside over the rest of us?
