Labor Must Be Feeling Heat. They're Now Shooting People

Lambertville, Alabama electrical contractor John King caught a union thug vandalizing his car with the word "SCAB" spray painted on it. King has been in the business for 40 years and has an open shop training center to bring young people into the trade. He offers health insurance and retirement benefits. For this he is harassed and shot in the arm. This is the first time I've felt sorry for someone that drives a Hummer.

Doesn't RICO kick in at some point? John Hinderacker had a nice post at Powerline making the case that unions should be subject to the same laws as everybody else, namely antitrust laws.

This happened in Lambertville, Michigan, not Alabama. King's company is the largest non-union electrical contractor in the Toledo area.

No other national institution has such a thin veneer of legitimacy over the implied threat of violence as the union movement. Could we go so far as to describe this as an act of union terrorism? I guess not, they don't refuse to vote for the Democratic agenda after all.

Going to compare this Union behavior with the actions of Drug Cartels in Mexico...
