Awkward, but someone had to explain the birds and the bees to liberals.

Re: Klavan on the Culture: The Facts of Life
Andrew, I love you man! I have a desire to be productive, make money, so that I can keep food in my pantry and continue living in my abode. Unfortunately, there appears there is no desire for me to be productive so I may not be able to continue to stock said pantry and stay in my abode. But keep in mind, it is important to give Harry Reid a deal so Republicans don't get blamed for the bad economy and Barrack Obama won't get re-elected, that's what is important.

"Money" and "property" are simply the physical manifestations of the exploitation of the proletariat by the racist and misogynistic Imperio-capitalist classes. How could this guy live long enough to lose all his hair and somehow not have learned this?

Bravo, Andrew! Awesome. Desire is the key.
Markets mimic nature, and in their ebb and flow are a force of nature. The simplest truths are often the hardest for people to grasp. The problem of course is perceived "unfairness" that inevitably develops. There are always those who can't or won't participate. But we can't distort nature to fit their inadequacies.
