John Kerry (he of "I can't believe I'm losing to this idiot" fame) is at it again. He's figured out why his party is in such trouble. You'll never guess who's at fault.

We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening.
And we have a senior United States Senator somehow contriving to sound exactly like a dimwitted, earnest Wellesley sophmore.
