On the DrudgeReport at this hour:

EXIT POLL BOOM FOR O

R: NC, FL

O: NH, PA, MI, NV

TOSS UP: OH, VA, CO, IA

It's too early to begin drawing conclusions, of course.  But if these exit polls prove accurate, then Romney must carry Ohio and Virginia--and either Colorado or Iowa. Which, I still believe, he might just be able to do.

Important to note that Drudge moved OH from Obama to "toss up" in the last 15 minutes...Matt Drudge is having a little fun, methinks... :)

I hope so.  I hope Matt enjoys the whole spectacle.

I hope we all do.

Phew.

Thanks, Jim.  You just gave me the strength to get on with the rest of my day.

I think Ohio goes R, I've thought so from the beginning, for no other reason that gut feel.

I love the election...I hate election night.  Last night I kept tossing and turning and dreaming about both the election, and the theological doctrine of election, combined together.  I imagine tonight will be the same.  Yuck!

Just heard Paul Ryan on Hugh Hewitt (with Lileks btw). The guy sounded confident. Man, it would be so interesting to watch Romney/Ryan govern.

Based on anecdotal evidence I am more worried about Virginia than Ohio right now.

Before the maelstrom begins, I do want to say that my vote for the Romney/Ryan ticket today was the proudest vote I ever cast in my life.

Not panicking.

And curiously no mention of WI in that headline. Even if the original breakdown is true, if Romney takes VA, CO, IA + FL, NC + WI = 273. (OH, PA, NH, etc not required).

That's good to hear. I am in full meltdown right now. But I am happy that tomorrow, I finally get my life back no matter what happens.

Did you vote in VA? I have some contradictory anecdotal evidence myself. Please explain.

It's not your life. You didn't build that.

No, I am not in VA. Just been lurking at all the conservative political sites while pretending to work today. I have  seen lots of reports of long lines in Dem-heavy areas, and the exits don't look so good. Just my impression, not based on hard facts...if you have contradictory evidence, I would  definitely like to hear about it though.
