Julian Assange Walks Out of CNN Interview
Julian Assange can't take the heat. He walked out of a recent CNN interview after the reporter questioned him about some details of his personal and professional life. Assange's organization, Wikileaks, just released thousands of classified documents about the Iraq war.
He threatens to walk out of the interview around minute 3 of the clip, and then does so at the very end.
Here's the Daily Mail:
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and his organisation are famously liberal with the secrets of the U.S. military - but the man is not so forthcoming about his own private life.
Australian-born Mr Assange walked out on a CNN interview after the reporter had the temerity to ask him about his often terse relationship with fellow workers - and an even more serious personal court case in which he was cleared of sex abuse charges in Sweden.
The 39-year-old ended the interview with CNN's Atika Shubert after she brought up the issue of the charges brought against him - who himself publicised the charges as a 'dirty tricks campaign' by the U.S. government.

Re: Julian Assange Walks Out of CNN Interview
What a rookie mistake. Why didn't he opt for an interview with Christiane Amanpour instead?

Re: Julian Assange Walks Out of CNN Interview
Poor guy, no one is going to believe him when he starts about Iranian complicity, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and ,incredibly, Bush being right.
Maybe he'd take an interview with Juan Williams.
Trouble is, he is a seriously delusional guy who has imperiled thousands with his conceit.

Appears we have lost our "edit" button. I should have said Oriana Fallaci instead of Juan Williams. Oriana would have eaten him alive.

Re: Julian Assange Walks Out of CNN Interview
Why not ask Assange about his guilty plea to over 20 cases in 1990s of criminal hacking of computer networks? It is a pity he was only fined for this; if it were done now he could have been imprisoned for many years.

Tsk, Emily. Never used "walked out" when "flounced off in a huff, tossing his artfully mussed golden locks" will do.

He walked out on the interview because he's all about transparency.
