And they wonder why CNN can't pull ratings anymore:

If they can't think of anything else? It must be tough to be in a 24-hour news cycle, with nothing at all to say....

Democrats don't generally have reporters trying to ambush them in elevators and mens rooms. Different people, different concerns.

Is that it?  Really?  Don't elect Romney because he blocked off an elevator in Massachusetts?  You've got be kidding.

In other news, Mitt Romney did not rob a bank last year or torture his dog.

So true. If only we could do away with all racist Tea Partiers, selfish, capitalist, me-firsters who hate women, gays, minorities and diversity; who stand in the way of pure 'progressivism'.

Suspend for a while the annoying Congress and its squabbling partisans, get some smart minority women in the Supreme Court, and put Democrats in power everywhere.

So far Mitt has blocked an elevator, held someone down in school, made a dog ride on the roof of his car, remodeled his house, was successful in business, participated in the Mormon faith.  Given all this, what is he capable of doing next?

Which reminds me of the Keith Olbermann skit from SNL:

We have seen this fear before: in Cambodia, under Pol Pot. [ image: skulls and bones ] In Russia, under Stalin. [ image: Stalin ] In Massachusetts, under Mitt Romney. [ image: Mitt Romney ]

Those of us in the pseudonymous community feel disenfranchised by Romney, because of the way he never refers to us by name during stump speeches or campaign commercials.

Elevatorgate will I am sure lead the MSNBC headlines tonight.

At least he didn't take the stairs. And left the building with them.

I can't wait until the guy who read Obama's bios tells us that the Pres once ate a state legislator who entered his elevator.

That's gotta be the next act, right?

Dave Carter

Just tell 'em he was practicing affirmative action for conservatives to make up for their historical exclusion in political circles.   No elevator, no peace, and all that...

Wait a second... when asked if he took down the velvet rope and re-opened the elevator, Governor Patrick did not confirm he had done so.  He just mouthed some generic platitudes!

Why is he dodging the question? What is he hiding?  How many elevators has he hijacked?  How many elevator operators have been laid off from his "everyone can ride" privatization of the state elevator industry?  The people demand answers!

...oh wait, he has a (D) in front of his name.  I guess he doesn't need to answer any tough questions after all.

They must have run out of reasons why the WI recall election was great for Obama!

Next up: the increase in carbon emissions associated with dedicating an elevator to himself and his staff. Think of all the energy that could have been saved if only he had shared!!

This just in:  Michele Obama condemns Romney for using elevator instead of walking up the stairs.  She also notes that all Massachusetts legislators are "disabled" under Social Security rules and are therefore allowed to continue to use elevators.
