Author and acclaimed radio host Dennis Prager has a great new resource up on the web called Prager University.  It's geared predominantly toward a college-aged demographic, but features a lot of great content, in the format of 5-10 minute YouTube "courses," that anyone can enjoy.  Dennis's latest course considers the question of whether Israel is an Apartheid state.

Looking at the comments section for the video on YouTube is a good advertisement for a place like Ricochet.

It's a good thing that the guys running the "PragerUniversity" channel leave comments open, though.

As Dennis often says, "First tell the truth, then give your opinion."  Ricochet is a safe and sane harbor in an internet sea of hatred and vitriol, but the truth of what many people think in this world can be seen when you leave a Comments section open.  I agree with you that it's a good thing the Comments remain open in some venues.

Oh, and the video is really good too! Jimmy Carter has peddled this nonsense about Apartheid and we must have sound, reasonable, well-articulated responses to such rubbish.

Prager is the man on this and many other issues. I used to listen to his podcasts almost exclusively on long runs. Of course, James, Rob, and Peter have now joined him as regular running companions of mine (wondering if this little shout out for the Ricochet podcast will get me any free stuff like a cool coffee mug?).

All of the Prager University vids are worth the time to watch (and encourage others to watch). And to think I'm paying $45,000+ for my son to receive an inferior education to what he could learn for free at Prager U ...

By the way, if you've ever seen Dennis on MSM or cable news talk shows representing the conservative viewpoint, it's a hoot. He simply crushes the facile arguments of his opponents. Probably why he doesn't get invited to appear all that often.

At the risk of sounding like a Prager groupie, I'll offer one more thought about the value Dennis brings every day. He frequently says that he values clarity over agreement. By leaving the Comments section open, he is providing clarity and insight to the childish, churlish, and often vulgar way the Left expresses itself.

I joined Ricochet because it is a "clarity over agreement" kind of place, where conservatives of all stripes (yes, NBC, conservatives do have different stripes!) can disagree but do so in a respectful and intelligent manner.

I'm a proud Prager groupie. And it's not a coincidence that many of his fans have found their way to Ricochet.

Diane Ellis, Ed.

I liked Prager's summary of his argument: "Not only is Israel not an Apartheid state; Arabs in Israel are freer than any Arab in the Arab world."

The charge of apartheid, in my experience, is not that Israel treats its Arab citizens poorly, but that the Palestinian Arabs "deserve" to have their own state, which of course would be equally prosperous and free as Israel if not for Israeli racism and oppression.

Bibi Netanyahu to the UN, on Israel as covered by the world's media: "I'd rather have bad press than a good eulogy."

Ditto RJ.  And I think he would be an excellent guest on Peter, James, and Rob's podcast.

(I may be reading this wrong - I might not be detecting your sarcasm, but on the assumption that my read is correct.....)

You have it so upside down and wrong you have no idea. The only thing standing in the way of a Palestinian state is PALESTINIAN/ARAB racism and terrorism.

And to suggest that a Palestinian state would be "equally prosperous and free as Israel" is the best laugh I've had in a while. You're of course basing this on the shining examples that all the other Arab states offer us?
