Intrigue in the Ohio 9th Congressional District

Remember reports a few months ago saying that Dennis Kucinich would move to Washington state and run for a Congress seat there? Well, apparently he's decided against that. Instead, he'll run for the Ohio 9th seat. Because of redistricting and the fact that Ohio lost two House seats, Kucinich will run against Marcy Kaptur in the primary. It should be an interesting race. I predict that Kaptur defeats Kucinich, but just barely.
Joe the Plumber (a.k.a. Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher) is running in the Republican primary for the seat. Although my heart's with Joe, I predict that Kaptur will be the eventual winner of the general election.

Are you sure, Tim?
Kucinich is a big name with the ability to raise money on his own.
I'm thinking he runs third party.

Why any Republican/Conservative/Libertarian tolerates "Joe The Plumber" is beyond me.
He did not ask a particularly interesting or probing question. He got lucky that the President gave a particularly intersting answer.
If you look into his background, Joe the Plumber is about as conservative Dennis Kucinich.
I equate his celebrity with that of Kardashian, only not as good looking.

He can always hold out for a cabinet position in the Ron Paul administration.

I'm glad he's skipping Wa. He was eyeing my district from what I understand. Kucinich is one of the few steps down from being represented by Jay Inslee.

I'm glad he's skipping WA too. Looks like I'll be in WA's new 10th district in the Olympia/Tacoma area. It looks like Dick Muri (R) and Denny Heck (D) (defeated in the 3rd in 2010 by Jaime Herrera Beutler) will be battling it out in the new 10th. King Prawn, I see that John Koster (R) is planning to run in the newly drawn 1st. That would definitely be a step up from Inslee!

Looks like I'll be in the 6th district now. I sure hope it's not Norm Dicks' district. That guy will have to die to be out of office.
