... you have never felt as jet-lagged as I feel right now. I just had the terrifying thought that pilots must fly in this condition all the time. Someone who feels the way I do right now shouldn't even be allowed to use a fork, no less captain a 767.

Although I must say that the last time I watched "Airplane!" was in Istanbul theatre in 1992 and MAN WAS IT GREAT. The subtitler just couldn't do the "Manny Mota" thing in Turkish. So he just wrote: "Manny Mota."

We just don't talk politics around here. We discuss culture, technology and yes, sometimes we get downright silly. Trading quips is no worse than Rob and James yelling, "Miramanee!" on a podcast.

And then the rest lined up with the assorted tools...

As one who has made 2 trips for work to/from London UK, from/to Melbourne Australia within 10 days, you can completely stuff up your body clock, but can reset it with some simple rules.
Claire, force yourself to get up take at least 1/2 hour walk in the bright sunshine if possible. You can reset the body clock that way, with a guide to a daily changing schedule can be found at the link:

Best not to drive a car for a few days whilst adjusting to the new time zone
