Just pave the way to end obamacare instead of actually ending it? How about eliminate red tape rather than just cutting through it? Start a trade war with China? Empower businesses and workers? How, pray tell? I've been under the impression for years that "empower" is a left code word for telling the cold and hungry "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," without actually doing anything about it.

Empower is a word I'd like to see enter the dustbin of history. I work with people all day long who say "empower".

Punch one in the nose then explain yourself by saying you felt a surge of empowerment.

Ha, ha! I feel the same way about "ick", "ickiness", "icky". A woman I worked with used that word in all its variants virtually everyday. Set my teeth on edge.

My biggest pet peeve is "irregardless" or hearing someone say "exspecially" with the "x" sound. Makes my skin crawl.

Great headline, Casey.

I think Mitt is running for Pat Sajak's job. Perhaps Pat could critique his presentation skills. It looks like he is wearing a suit coat and not a navy blazer with his khaki pants, a clear fashion violation for one so preppy.

If Mitt is elected will the banners be in the Oval Office?

By "empowering American businesses and workers" does Mitt plan to aid Jimmy Hoffa and the unions to help them "take out" members of the Tea Party? Specifics beyond bullet-pointed platitudes would be welcome.

And if you'll empower me to make this last digression...my x-wife and I had left a party in West Los Angeles one evening but were still a bit hungry as the party food was fairly meager. We pulled into the parking lot of Gladstone's for Fish on Pacific Coast Highway at around 11:00 PM and asked the parking attendant if the restaurant was still serving. He replied: "I don't know but I'll axe my supervisor." To which I replied "Good heavens, man - don't do that!"

Sale of the Century may be even more appropriate for Mitt.

Its a twofer. I chose that word deliberately because its got that jarring Mrs. Thurston Howell III vibe to it combined with the cheezy faux tough guy verve of empower. As Jonah would say: "Man, that really harshes my mellow."

There's nothing that quite says "Android American" like a tie and dockers outfit.

Yep. I've always said he'd make a great game show host. But president? I don't think so.
