I Take Back All The Good Things I Said About Women Because of That Foul Ball Picture

Remember Mollie's post "I'd Like To See Willie Mays Do This" focusing on this picture of a supermom catching a foul ball while holding her baby?
I got caught up in the pro-woman frenzy myself, turning coat on my own kind and making a post about a guy who dropped his daughter while trying to catch a foul ball, and missing.
Well, that just changed. I might go full misogynist after watching this woman. Not since Eve has a woman been so tempted by a little round object:

If she had been a male, that would have been an on-the-spot man card forfeiture, right there.

Wow. Stole it from a little girl as well. No solidarity there. Every woman for herself.

I hope that was on the JumboTron screen shown in slow mo so that...... "Lady".... was shamed.
More than that, well.... yeah..... sad

The only edifying thing that can be said about this woman's actions: she displays more devotion to retrieving the ball than any member of my beloved -- though beleaguered -- Washington Nationals.

I'd hate to be caught alone in a room with her…

She's gotta be a Democrat.

Perhaps there is a problem in making the actions of one disgusting woman a metaphor for all women? I surely hope that you gentlemen won't be afraid of all women because of the actions of a woman like this.

I would add that any man who was present and saw that happen and didn't intervene to make that woman return the ball to the little girl (who, it appears, is the rightful owner), deserves an on-the-spot man-card forfeiture.

Tommy, I can hardly wait for your next proclamation defining an entire class of people based on the actions of one member. Women are EVIL - look at this one who snatched a ball away from a kid. Men are EVIL - look at [insert most recent ex-boyfriend murders girl story]. Dogs are EVIL - hey, did you hear about this pit bull that chewed off a kid's face? Snakes are EVIL - consider the Garden of Eden.
How about, "All created beings are inherently fallible and do wrong things?"
Except, of course, for cats, which are PERFECT exactly the way they are.

She took the ball right out of the kid's hands. A man would not do that. We are trained not to do this type of thing.

Y'know what may be even worse about this event? I don't think it was a random foul ball. Came in way too softly, and two kids were at the ready for it. I think it was tossed TO the kids intentionally by a ballplayer leaving the field (or maybe a bat boy), and the dame didn't have the class or the sense or the decency to care, and neither did anyone in her group.

Sadly, modern society depends entirely on police for justice. If I saw that happen in front of me, I would have confronted the woman (I almost said "lady"). But if she refused to give the girl the ball, what could I have done other than request some security official to intervene like a kid crying to his teacher?

Bets on which woman was a Democrat and which was a Republican? I'm just sayin'

Okay, perhaps this evens the score: Male fan steals ball from kid. And one more for the distaff side, that they are calling the ninja ball girl. A couple of commenters are saying it's only a Gatorade commercial. Oh well.
