Sick of the election we're currently embroiled in? Pining for simpler days? HBO has your back. Here's the full trailer for Game Change, which debuts next month. We'll give it this much: Ed Harris appears to have perfectly captured John McCain's "what the hell have I gotten myself into?" look. Oh, and The Guess Who's  American Woman is used to great effect as well. Other than that....meh. (Hint: click on the title of the post to view the trailer in HD.)

It's not America. It's HBO.

HBO considers Bill Maher a trenchant social observer. Fiction and reality don't seem to mesh well over there.

Sarah Palin has just gotten way too much uncritical glittering coverage from the fawning media.  It's about time someone tells the other side of the story.  You know, to bring some balance.  Let us know if she has any faults at all.

Systematic character assassination.

At some point the caricature fails, and it's obvious that's what it is.  That's why GB Trudeau backed off the witch-voodoo-doll-with-warts-on-her-nose-and-knitting-needles-in-her-hair "Voice of Sarah" that he depended on for about 2 years in his Doonsbury cartoon.  It was obvious to everyone that the image on the page had more to do with the political bias of the cartoonist than anything connected to a person called Sarah Palin.

Canadian?  That's an adjective, right?  (j/k)

Liberals and Hollywood have prepared the 2012 battlespace for any potential GOP nominee.

If it's Sarah Palin: Veep and Game Change

If it's Rick Perry: Will Ferrell's movie Southern Rivals (photos)

If it's Michele Bachmann: Butter (Jennifer Garner channels Michele Bachmann)

If it's Romney: OWS and 1% vs 99%

This is getting pretty dirty. In 2008, people just had to put up with Oliver Stone´s W.

Is it just me, or do I have the impression that this tactic they are using might backfire? People can get physically tired of such media bombardment. I don´t know...

Had I gotten here sooner I would have replied "I give up... who?"

But I've missed the moment.

Don't we know any big budget Hollywood guys?  Why can't we make the Obama movie before they do?

the trailer for the "kill bin laden" film is probably coming out in october 2012. It has a December 19, 2012 release date.
