If Joe Biden were a Republican, you'd see stuff like this on the nightly news. But since he's a Democrat and it cuts against the narrative of "Republicans are idiots, Democrats are of super-supreme brilliance," we don't. Check it out:

The woman at the end makes me laugh. The preposterous claim that the Jobs Bill would decrease rape is even further eroded by the facts. It proposes $5 billion for cops and firefighters and $30 billion to teachers. Maybe they're special rape-fighting teachers.

How on Earth are states and municipalities ever supposed to get their houses in order if the federal government continues to sporadically and unpredictably rain down largesse on what most would consider to be its areas of primary responsibility? What are state and local taxes for if not to fund police, firefighters and teachers. So by paying for these core functions, the federal dollars actually fund and save from stricter examination, all the non-essential items that these governments spend money on.

To often we treat the Vice-President as a joke; he is actually a disgrace to his office, as seen here.

I expect next to hear Joe say Republicans are bayoneting babies after raping the nuns.

The brilliance of Liberals is well established.  They know how much we should earn, how much we should pay, and what we should be allowed to buy.  They are so smart that they even get their own facts.  Biden says crime would continue to increase without the "Jobs Bill".  Actually, IIRC, personal crime has been been declining for several years, and the Obama recession hasn't changed that.

And to this day we are told that the GOP lost in 2008 because they nominated a divisive airhead for the VP slot.

The second most delightful part of this video is the desperation in the female aid's voice when she says, "we gotta go!"  Yes, darlin'.  Get the hook!

The most delightful part is that slamming vault sound after the reporter answers, "Human Events."  My whole day has been made.

Amen. One hallmark of totalitarian regimes throughout history is their tendency to pit one group of people against another -- either on the basis of race, class, ethnicity, or religious belief.

The ugliness being sown by the President with his Class Warfare Tour and now this too-vile-to-believe rhetoric coming from the Vice President should make very clear -- whatever misgivings Ricochet members may have about Romney (if you're a Cain supporter) or Cain (if you're a Romney supporter) or hell, even Gingrich or Perry for that matter -- how critical it is that we are strongly unified next year so as to be in the best position possible to evict the most divisive Administration in history out of the White House.

And if the Vice President is accurate--I know, I know--and crime is going up, it is doing so against the backdrop of the greatest government spending binge in world history.  Cause and effect anyone?

I thought "The American people" would have been a good response, too.

I'm trying to think of a character from literature who combines buffoonery and vileness the way Biden does.  He sometimes gets a pass as being just a fool, but that gives him too much credit.

Yeah Jason !

His greatest hits show is going to be a hoot. Just another great Gotcha from Jason Mattera. His Chris Dodd was good, but this one from Bumbling Biden is a beaut.

Biden may well be the dumbest guy to EVER serve in the Executive branch.

Jonah Goldberg takes up the critique in a way only he can.
