Re: Howard Dean: Move the Mosque
Every once in a while he seems quite sane, as when he called on Obama and the Dem leadership trash the 'health care' bill and start over. Problem is, there are too many quotes like these:
"I hate Republicans and everything they stand for."
"Hypocrisy is a value that I think has been embraced by the Republican Party. We get lectured by people all day long about moral values by people who have their own moral shortcomings. "
"I have my warts. I sometimes say things that get me in trouble. In other words, I lead with my heart and not my head. That's the only chance we have against George Bush. "
"I like John Kerry. I think he's intellectually curious and very thoughtful.... he's an internationalist, which I am. "

Re: Howard Dean: Move the Mosque
He seems to have mellowed and matured considerably of late. I mean, he's suggesting Newt Gingrich for the presidency and he's been one of the most outspoken critics of this administration within the Democratic Party. And we can't just eliminate all Democrats, we're going to have to live with some of them. Better ones like the new Howard Dean. Also? He's uniquely poised to challenge the President in a primary in a way almost no one else in the party is, something that I think will damn near guarantee a Republican winning the general in 2012.

Waffle waffle waffle waffle. I never liked Howard Dean Mark 1, but at least he never left you in doubt about what he thought. This is pathetic.

Raise your hand if you want to have a beer with Howard Dean. Yeah, that's what I thought.

Re: Howard Dean: Move the Mosque
Two cheers for Dean. He'd earn a third cheer if he grasped a simple point: This mosque will be built at Ground Zero or it won't be built. Moving it would defeat the whole purpose.
