You mock it. Relentlessly. But with a smile on your face. This is how it's done:

A sharp sense of humor is a devastating weapon against the earnest and pedantic doyens of progressivism. Especially powerful in bring the 'utes on board.

I mean, all taken together, I get it, and you get it, but I'm not sure that's really the best way to deliver the message. It's pretty obvious several people are taking the question to mean "... other than you and I?" and are answering sincerely (whether accurately or not). That makes it a bit of a wash.

Yeah, I got that too. If there was any critical feeling though, I think it was more towards a poorly ethnically diverse crowd from self selection, than one done through exclusion. Videos like this won't convince people that the Tea Party is especially appealing to minorities, but it will show them that the Tea Party doesn't exclude anyone, regardless of your heritage or skin color.

Had to love the woman with the Confederate battle flag t-shirt.

Yeah, it's not perfect. But I was impressed by the gentleness of the tone -- it's mocking, but no one looks angry -- and by the cheerfulness of the interview subjects. I guess that's another thing that amazes me about the Tea Party events -- no one seems angry. I mean, yes, they're angry, but they don't seem driven to distraction by it. It really seems like a Fourth of July picnic. (Which in a way, I think, it is.) Contrast that to MoveOn.org rallies, and I think it says a lot.

I loved it- a high school classmate had posted a derisive FB comment about Saturday's TEA Party rally in DC ("rich Caucasians"), and I posted that link as a comment.
