Not bad, all things considered.

It's not a speech that will be remembered for time immemorial--we're not talking Churchill, here--but at least it's the right basic idea.

Am I the only one to notice how good her hair is looking these days, by the way?

Good for Hillary.

And strange, at least in this case, that she seems to speak with more authority than her boss.

There will be a test, actually there will be multiple tests before final grades are tallied.

I do think we have the makings of Ricochet's own version of The Economist's Big Mac Index - The Hillary Coiffe Index. I've mentioned before (somewhere) that her hair is a barometer and I think this proves it. When her hair is messy, she's in a policy wonk phase, and when she's looking more groomed, she's come to some finality in her decision process.

Okay, so she said most of the right things.  But are you really so willing to let her "hypocrisy" comments go without mention?  Who precisely is being hypocritical here?  The Mullahs cheered on Egyptian protesters because they see them as a potential force for Islamic revolution.  Their own protesters are just the opposite.  Cynical?  Yes.  Hypocritical?  Not necessarily.  At the same time, this is the same US Administration that allowed its media lap dogs and some Congressional leadership to decry the violent, racist tendencies of the Tea Party movement.  And isn't Hillary only getting out in front of this one to erase the embarrassment of her boss' unforgivable failure to stand up in 2009?  Please, our own government's cynicism and hypocrisy couldn't be any more obvious.  That tends to suggest we shouldn't take her comments too seriously.

Hillary's statement doesn't mean much in the context of the deafening silence coming from the Oval Office.

Be easy on our President. Clearly, matters of life and death are above his pay grade.

When I saw this yesterday I thought to myself that Mrs. Clinton really means this and yet it is totally irrelevant to the functioning of the  US government.  It struck me then to wonder, does anyone listen to this administration and its officials any longer?  BTW, her hair looks a bit better but she needs to tone down the eye makeup.  Too much for a woman of her age.

Mrs. Clinton said the right things, but I thought her tone was wrong if not downright tepid.

I think she owes Kristi Noem an apology for trying to bogart her hairstyle!

I wonder, if given the chance to do it over again, the Democrats would nominate her instead of The One.

I like fashion as much as anyone, however, unless it's about policy (such as Pseudo's comment above) could we not bring up a politician's hair (outfit, makeup. etc.)?  In the case of female politicians especially, the subject is usually irrelevant.
