And that's not just commentary on the ultimate destination of Bin-Ladin's soul—although for the sake of the Code of Conduct, let's assume it is.

A very good day for the U.S. and the world. I wish the President had been a little more specific with some of the details of what had happened, but I imagine eventually things will get declassified. Still, man, how's that for the trophy wall of Special Forces?

Who’s the strong horse now, dude?

Man I am happy right now. So glad the President made the right call this time. Man I am happy with the President's decision...its such a novel experience.

I sure don't like the partying in the streets that I'm seeing on TV right now. It's great news that OBL is dead, but Islamic radicals are going to use the jubilation clips as inspiration for revenge.

Seems like an odd inversion of the events of one fateful Tuesday ten years ago, as the news reached the world.

My question is....now that this symbol of conflict between worlds has been eliminated, are we any closer to a truce or will this be an event that solidifies the animosity between waring sides as they currently exist (US v. radical Islam) for decades to come?

The Berlinski Junta neither confirms nor denies anything. Ever.

Indeed. The War on Terror is one of the few things I gave Obama a passing grade on to begin with, and even then it was a C+ at best.

But I don't care what letter the President has after his name; Osama bin Laden is dead. That's all that matters right now.

Yes, better to just act solemn and give our condolences to OBL's family.

This place needs a rolleyes smiley worse than almost anything else.

Oh, no, do you think they might get mad at us?
