If you've followed the news about Newark mayor Cory Booker rescuing citizens from a house fire or shoveling out snow when city services got overwhelmed, you may enjoy this video pitting him against Gov. Chris Christie. Done for a state-level correspondents' dinner, it makes you wonder if New Jersey elected officials could teach other states' politicos about humor:

I watch a lot of creepy political videos in the hope of finding those few that are exceptionally imaginative, solidly support my world view, or are just plain hilarious. This one is a Trifecta!

Since mainstream press and comedians have determined that Obama is unmockable, those on the right seem to be filling the void with a giddy abandon.
Christy and Booker are both very popular in Jersey. I'm glad to see this bi-partisan good humor.

Make that a quadfecta: both guys are good comedic actors, who don't take themselves too seriously. Can anyone see Obama doing this?
Great politicians understand the power of a little genuine self-deprecating humor.

Beautifully done and written. Two guys trying to top one another with the switcheroo at the end. The light touch and humor is so powerful. It makes you wonder why it is so rarely used.

Not quite a trifecta. OK, here in Newark, we've got Booker and Christie. If the Devils can retake the Stanley Cup, that would be a Jersey trifecta.
