Gingrich: 'The Bigotry Question Goes Both Ways'

Debates are about moments. Precisely the only moment I remember from Saturday night's debate is captured here:
Gingrich interjected this after what seemed an interminable round of poorly phrased gotcha questions about contraception and same-sex marriage and gay adoption.

I've watched this clip a dozen times and this moment ranks up there with some of Reagan's finest rebuttals: not in terms of style (notice the finger wagging by Newt), but in terms of substance. If this moment is the only thing memorable out of Newt's uneven campaign performance, he's done the entire conservative movement a great service here.
My hats off to him.

This clip is one of the biggest reasons I like Newt. Thanks for sharing it, Mollie. I hadn't seen it.

Seriously it is comments(hopefully I used the right word) like that which make me what to vote for Newt. Now if only he could stop putting his foot in his mouth and taking the most inane stances on other issues; none of the other candidates would stand a chance.
