From Russia, With "Different Types of Emotions"
While we're thinking about the many mysteries of nuclear proliferation, here's more news from the top millimeter of the iceberg. Russia to build nuclear power station in Venezuela.
"A deal in the atomic sphere has just been signed. I already know that it will make someone shudder. The president (of Venezuela) told me that there will states who will have different types of emotions about this," Medvedev said.
Different types of emotions, indeed. I open this comment thread to members who would like to share their emotions. We have Ricochet psychotherapists on hand to help you process them in a healing way and achieve growth on your personal path.

Re: From Russia, With "Different Types of Emotions"
So, let me get this straight . . . Vladimir "your missile system is cancelled" Putin sends out his five foot sock puppet to announce a joint nuclear program with Venezuela. Vlad knows the current president of the United States is likely to get tossed out on his ear in two years, and knows also that under a Republican president the US will return to a more muscular foreign policy. He recalls something he learned in school called the Monroe Doctrine. Make hay while the sun shines, eh, Vlad?
Bwahahahahahaha! Mirth is a wonderful emotion.

VZ has every bit as much need for atomic energy as Iran - I.E. none. I don't even want to think about the amazingly incompetent VZ govt. running an atomic plant. They are running their petroleum industry into the ground and have decades of experience in the business. Might be a good time for an infrastructure turbine program in the Keys to blow the radioactive contamination back to them.

Now we know: When you press the Reset button, you get a mushroom cloud.

Re: From Russia, With "Different Types of Emotions"
We shouldn't forget that "it was supposed to say reset", but the Russians translation was closer to "overcharge or overload".
That little tidbit was tossed in the MSM memory hole.
What it tells us about the depth of experience within Hillary and Barack diplomatic corps is the key. And the resulting emotion ?
YIKES !! We're doomed. RUNAWAY !!! aiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
I think I need a shrug.

Maybe this is the new cold war strategy: creating nuclear proxy states among oil-rich nations that don't have the expertise to supply their own people with gasoline. These states are perfect pawns: their incompetance ensures that they will do as they are told.
So should the US beat Russia to the punch and jump in to assist the Nigerians in their own pointless quest for "peaceful" nuclear energy?

Hey, what would be wrong with a nuclear Nigeria, as long as it's an ally of the US? Americans could make fortunes allowing Nigerian businessmen access to their safe deposit boxes to store the plutonium.

OK... well, you're asking for it... I would like to confess the emotion of forbidden attraction:
I know I should hate Hugo Chavez, and all he stands for. Plus, there's no reason I should find that baggy-eyed, pasty pudding face pleasing to look at. And he has no neck.
But when I hear news of him, or see his picture, I just feel this thrill going up my leg... (Don't know how this happens, as snakes haven't got legs, but I swear it does). I find myself searching online late at night for new and interesting pictures of the guy -- like this one where he's looking nonplussed with a parrot on his shoulder.
Clearly, this is a sign I need help -- some sort of psychological implosion must be imminent.
Thank you for your support.

Well, I don't want to brag, but I am going to receive $25,000,000 from a certain Nigerian businessman whose neighbor tragically fell of his yacht in the south of France. In fact, I recently sent him $500 to assist in the transfer of these funds to a safe deposit box in ..................well, I can't tell you yet.
You see these people are our friends. And you're right we should give them nukes. I am reinvesting this money into a series of bridges in Boston that an engineer thinks I can resell to the Nigerians for about $35,000,000. Pretty good deal, considering I am only paying $15,000,000 for them ( and I think I get to keep the toll booths !).

Hey, I've got some prime real estate down here in SC if you want to build some bridges! Good water-front property. Actually there's water in all directions unless there's a dry-spell. Beautiful cypress trees...

These things were a lot more palatable when they were sending flame-haired spy chicks to infiltrate our cocktail parties. Now it's just like they don't even care. Don't even sweet talk us any more.
Oooh, maybe we could book her for the NR cruise.
