Delingpole de La Mancha

This week on Radio Free Delingpole, James welcomes enviro-lawyer Chris C. Horner.  As an attorney in Washington, DC Horner has represented CEI as well as scientists and Members of the U.S. House and Senate on matters of environmental policy in the federal courts including the Supreme Court. He has written on numerous topics in publications ranging from law reviews to legal and industrial trade journals to print and online opinion pages, and is the author of two best-selling books: Red Hot Lies: How Global Warming Alarmists Use Threats, Fraud and Deception to Keep You Misinformed (Regnery, 2008) and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and Environmentalism (Regnery, 2007), which spent half of 2007 on the New York Times bestseller list.

Chris and James discuss the idiocy of many of the current environmental laws either on the books or being prosed in both the U.S. and Britain. Also, James gives us an update on his Quixotic campaign for MP and his new found love for a man named Mitt.

I absolutely loved Horner. I wish I could phrase arguments and be articulate as he is on government corruption and the green movement.

James- that hill is that man's property.  I understand the health concerns, and it's something I'm not unsympathetic to, but if your concern is pure aesthetics, buy the [COC violation] hill yourself and stop telling other people what they can and can't do with their property.

Otherwise, good show.

Hillsdale - just buy HillsdaleConstitution201.com (or whatever) and direct it to the right place for goodness sake (if constitution201.hillsdale.edu can't work).

James - your only good argument against the windmill is that it is only being built as a result of a corrupt set of incentives. Only against this background, and in the context of turning the enemy's weapons against himself, should you show anything but contempt for bat inspectors and archaeologist's reports.

Chris is a phenomenon!

James, you will be getting support from a new book released this weekend called Sun Rise. It is written by the CEO of Suncor, Rick George, who politely rips the limbs off environmental activist celebrities.

I wrote a book review in the Member's feed.
