The mainstream media (which are on the fringe) support the centrist Democrats (who are on the far left) against the far right Tea Partiers (who are at the center) and their fringe candidates (who are in the mainstream).

Very good work, Andrew. Funny, accurate, succinct (or at least as succinct as possible), and polished. It comes closer than anything else I've seen to explaining the insanity of our time.

Um, Andrew? You've got a little, uh, white powder beneath your nostril....

Such damn fine writing I have nothing but contempt. The highest praise one writer can give another.

Let's try a little logic test from Andrew's brilliant explanation of American politics:

Point 1: Christine O'Donnell's positions are 100% different from those of Nancy Pelosi.

Point 2: O'Donnell is not a witch.

Therefore: Nancy Pelosi is a witch.

If Andrew says it's so, it's so. I've long suspected it, but now we have proof.

Skelator turned good in the end, though. Thanks to Santa and some kids.
I'm linking to this vid. . . now. Best Klavan yet.

The most succinct, entertaining and accurate guide to the 2010 midterm election yet.

Let's email this link around.

I don't know, Klavan. It sounds like hate speech to me.

Well, there are some centrist Democrats who remain in the center. The health care bill, as bad as it is, would have been unimaginably worse if they hadn't been there.

I wrote a policy brief paper on this (for fun; I'm not a real policy analyst) in this pdf.

The healthcare bill does have some center-right concepts, and I fear in our zeal to repeal the other 1900 pages of leftist crap, we may go overboard and damage our own ideas.
