Now this takes real chutzpah:
Opposite the Kremlin walls, a group of extremely gutsy young Russians hung up a banner showing an x'ed out caricature of Putin alongside the words "Putin, Depart." According to Ilya Yashin, the banner stayed in place for over 40 minutes as frantic authorities attempted to rip it down.
Photographer Yevgeny Feldman documented the whole stunt here.
On a related note, thousands of Russians demanding fair elections are scheduled to march in Moscow against Putin tomorrow.

There is a Russian people that has been subdued, even for the past 20 years. Part of me wants this to go somewhere. Most of me says that this is not the best time, for this.

This is part of the reason why the life expectancy of Russian males is so low.
A stunt like this is made doubly hard, as it is difficult to be sneaky when your attachments clank as you walk (as these fellow's obviously do).
Cast iron or naval brass is my guess, though in Russia I guess concrete and riveted steel would also be a possibility.
Takes some serious hutzpah and not a small dose of fatalism to try and pull one on Putin. Good on them for pulling it off.

I think I'd go with Dave's, off the top of my head. I like how bing translated “Miss,” as a transliteration of the English honorific…
